Well, I hope this helps and I also hope they stay with this version of the game, cause I’m starting to post some pretty serious scores again. Remember, every giant wave is like gold in the bank, and supergems are your friend. More is possible if you have the time to make the traps, both mana (orange/red) and kill traps (red/yellow) and bomb a lot, 20+ and have the mana traps and armor skill to stay alive. To get 100k+ on a mode of 39 or so waves is easy, with no creeps getting through hardly at all this is with bombing 7-12 times per wave. Also, bomb those first waves and set traps early, this will allow you to increase your mana pool early as well. But then you miss out on the 300 for the amulet. All you need is a grade one to change everything to an orange. Bombing to make the gems pays off in the long run. With all skills maxed, you start with all gem colors and can make any gem you like.įourth, if you want to use these methods, mana traps are paramount. I choose those levels in preference to time siege, sudden death and swarm. Then, use the techniques you have learned here and in your experience to play 3x levels that give good xp (endurance, heroic, bleeding edge, carapace, arcane). Third, this should give you a 2 million or so xp, maybe more, maybe less, but it will be enough to level you up to the point where all skills are maxed.
Gemcraft chapter 0 endurance mode how to#
How to make this stuff is in the strategy thread. You will need mana traps, supergem mana traps are good. Try to get a couple of giant waves in there. At some point around 90th wave or so, bomb the heck out of the waves coming up, I mean a lot, and once they are on the board, finish the game. These are cheaper to make than grade 11 gems. By the way, the supergem is back, so use those grade 1 gems to increase damage, speed and range of you starting gem. From what I gather, the only difference in the newest version of the game and the original is the cap on monster # after 20 times bombing. It’s long, but not that long, maybe it’ll take about 30 minutes or so to read the posts that you really need are not that long. Karsten75: Here’s what you can do as I see it -įirst, read through the strategy thread the ways that we do this are outlined pretty well there. I am just finishing the game up now, and that screenshot is current as of about 10 minutes ago. Alternately, if the score didn’t go up exponentially this way, my score on this level wouldn’t be over 2 billion. This would not be possible if pissing enemies off raised their banish costs for instance. What I am getting from all of this, is that the score and mana systems need to be revised somewhat. As you progress your yellow/red traps, I can see you using higher and higher grades easily for a nearly infinite score value. Basically, the higher the grade, the longer it will take to kill off the enemies. I wanted to see what the strength differences were instead of just using grade 6. It took me so long to beat **this** level, because I screwed around with grade 8 and grade 9 gems to piss off the last 2 waves. Because the enemies don’t have lots of armor, these traps don’t have to be any higher than around grade 12 so it is easy to make a whole lot of them.

I then set up an array of yellow/red traps to destroy enemies as they come.

This causes 3 times as many enemies to come, and with greatly increased score and hp values, but the same exact armor. Once I have enough traps, I start using grade 6 gems instead of grade 1 gems. I then use this mana to set up a whole array of traps, and I fuel this by pissing off waves until the armor is so high that my traps barely kill them. It involves setting up red/orange traps and using those to collect insane amounts of mana. This is only a 38 wave map, but I have determined that I can do starting around wave 26ish on pretty much any map. These next 3 screenshots are taken at different parts of this game. I have pretty much tested the limits of the usage of mana traps and what I am presently calling murder traps. Ok, I have just gone through an 8 hour game on the level before the fourth Arcane Guardian on normal.
